JOB ALERT: Rent Surveyors (work from home position)

A company is hiring a temporary rent survey team this week. The project is expected to last six weeks. In this job position, the worker will be calling various apartment communities and obtaining information such as monthly rent costs, current rent specials, and other information. 

Do I need a landline telephone? The job only states you need long-distance telephone service so it seems like a cellphone plan with unlimited minutes and great service will do the trick.

Do I need a computer? Yes, you will need a computer with high-speed internet access.

How much will I get paid? $6 per hour PLUS 60 cents per "done" survey, 40 cents for surveys with wrong telephone numbers, 20 cents for partially completed surveys, and 10 cents per survey where no one answered or voice mail picked up the call. Further, if you make less than minimum wage under your state's law, then your pay will be altered to comply with your state's minimum wage laws. 

What are work hours? M-F, 9 am-6 pm within the surveyed time zones. 

How many hours must I work? The job description does not state a minimum number of hours. Instead, they offer a minimum number of surveys the worker must fulfill per week, as follows: 

Week 1 = minimum of 60 surveys

Weeks 2-6 = minimum of 80 surveys
